Current Project: Signed Radiance Anniversary Hardcovers

Sept 27: 33 out of 56 orders have been shipped! You’ll get an email with the tracking number when yours ships, so if you haven’t gotten an email, your books are still waiting on my bookshelf.

Sept 15: The aforementioned shipment arrived, and I’ve placed one last order to cover the flawed copies. I’m continuing to spray, pack, and ship as I have time. So far 9 out of 56 orders have gone out.

Sept 11: I’m waiting on the shipment mentioned last update, but I’ve decided to start shipping out books in batches rather than waiting to ship them all at once. I need to get some of these out of my apartment!! Plus spreading out the pick-ups and drop-offs will be easier for myself and the postal workers alike.

I’ll be shipping out batches in the following order: preexisting Dragon tier subscribers since they technically ordered way in advance; international readers so I catch any address formatting issues (plus it’ll take longer to get to you — let’s start the journey early!); then US readers by order date. (edit: I’m actually batching international and US orders together, for specific package pickup eligibility reasons — I can only get US media mail orders picked up if I batch it with international orders.)

All of the preexisting Dragon tier packages are scheduled for pickup tomorrow, yay! I’ll send individual tracking numbers once they’ve been picked up.

Sept 6: Still working on edges! I can’t spray paint every day — it takes a bit of setup outside. But I’ve done most of Paladin, and started on Sword-Witch while I wait for my next shipment of books to arrive.

Aug 31: I’ve made good headway on The Paladin’s Shadow edges. I think this might be my favorite edge color — they’re so gorgeous! Unsure what my neighbors think of my endeavors.

Aug 26: Finished spraying The Necromancer’s Light copies! Also accidentally spraypainted part of an exterior wall, but nail polish remover took care of that.

As of Aug 24: Most of the books have arrived at my apartment — 136 are here, and I’m still waiting on 40. I’ve inspected the current batch to separate out any significantly flawed copies. (I’ll rush-order replacements once I’ve finished the edge-spraying, to account for any spray paint disasters.) About half of them have misaligned dust jackets, which is a fixable problem — I’ve added “re-fold dust jackets” to my to-do list.

I have 18 copies of The Necromancer’s Light already sprayed, since I ordered that batch much earlier than the others. I’m spending today spraying more of those 🙂
